Did anyone notice that the City of Jasper, Canada was just Wiped Out from “Wildfires”? No trees burned right next to the buildings. Cars mysteriously left alone. HHHMMMM

There is nothing left but chimneys in half the city, while a huge portion of the national park itself is completely gone…

🔴 The CPC has been asking the Trudeau Liberals about their plan to specifically combat wildfires in Jasper for years…
— much of the forest is dead or dying due to the pine beetle infestation, which serves to act as a super fuel in Forrest fires.
— they designated $68 million to fight the pine beetle infestation… where did all that money go?

• more than 1/3 of all structures were destroyed, and it’s still going.
  —— people lost their homes, their businesses, their livelihoods.
  —— eight of the fire department’s 29 members also lost their homes.
• As of July 30, there are still 117 active wildfires in Alberta alone. Four of those are “wildfires of note,” including the Jasper Wildfire Complex, meaning they are considered to be of “significant public interest and may pose a threat to public safety.”

Everything I’m reading about this, Canadians are extremely pissed from what appears an extreme case of gross negligence of forest-fire management…
