She asserts that affirming her daughter’s mental health distress made things worse, even leading to a suicide attempt. The mother now advocates for rejecting Colorado’s HB 25-1312, which expands transgender initiatives, warning that it undermines parental rights and could lead to more harm for children. The bill has passed the House and is now heading to the governor’s desk.
