Fox News Digital broke the story, revealing how Trump is putting our heroes first, something the left seems allergic to. The center, set to rise on the Veterans Affairs campus in West Los Angeles, will tackle the city’s crisis of 3,000 homeless veterans, a staggering 10% of the nation’s total, according to the White House. While Democrats prioritized handouts for illegal alien gangsters and terrorists, Trump’s order ensures these funds now build a lifeline for those who fought for our freedom.
The National Center for Warrior Independence will house up to 6,000 homeless veterans by 2028, offering housing, substance abuse treatment, and job support to help them rebuild their lives with dignity. “This center will give veterans the care, benefits, and services they’re entitled to,” the White House stated, emphasizing Trump’s commitment to self-sufficiency for our warriors. The order also boosts access to care with expanded hours, weekend appointments, and virtual healthcare options, while directing a feasibility study to expand services at the Manchester VA Medical Center in New Hampshire. In a slap to the Biden-era VA, Trump’s order demands accountability, targeting misconduct and reversing the rehiring of employees previously fired for wrongdoing. Meanwhile, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development will now prioritize vouchers for homeless veterans—because apparently, it took Trump to remind Democrats who deserves our support more: our vets, not border-jumpers.
President Trump’s latest action underscores his unwavering belief that “every veteran deserves our gratitude, and the federal government should treat veterans like the heroes they are,” per the White House. This comes hot on the heels of last week’s announcement of a June 14 military parade to honor veterans and active-duty service members while celebrating the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday. Once again, Trump proves he’s the champion our veterans need, delivering results while the left fumbles with their misplaced priorities.
