The Trump administration’s decision to crack down on Mahmoud Khalil and his crew isn’t just a one-off win, it’s a glaring spotlight on the massive national security threat they represent. Khalil’s group, CUAD, and its allies are a ticking time bomb, and their actions paint a chilling picture of what’s at stake if we don’t act fast. Let’s break down the undeniable red flags:

  1. Terrorist Ambitions on American Soil: Khalil’s gang isn’t just talking a big game—they’re dead set on bringing the October 7 horrors to the U.S. They’ve openly pushed their “comrades” to mimic the “Palestinian resistance” tactics, urging them to “rise” like a “flood.” Anyone paying attention knows “flood” isn’t a random word—it’s a direct nod to Hamas’s “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” the name for the October 7 attacks. CUAD even bragged about wanting to ramp up attacks in the West, pointing to Casey Goonan’s arson spree at UC Berkeley as a shining example.
  2. Glorifying Global Terror: CUAD doesn’t hide its admiration for the October 7 attacks or the Islamist-fueled violence in Bangladesh, calling them key battles in a “global intifada” against “American imperialism.” They’re not just cheering from the sidelines—they want in on the action.
  3. Willing to Die for Chaos: Khalil’s group isn’t playing around—they want to “genuinely threaten the state” so hard that they’re ready to be “killed, jailed, tortured, disappeared, and targeted” right here in America. They’re taking notes from the Bangladeshi uprising, saying liberation in the U.S. means making the same “sacrifices.” That’s not a protest; that’s a war cry.
  4. Targeting the Military and Police: CUAD’s game plan is straight-up destruction—attack the military and police “en masse,” tear down “state infrastructure,” and escalate the “global battle for liberation.” They’re fangirling over the October 7 Hamas terrorists and Bangladeshi militants for taking on “fascist agitators” and pushing the “resistance” into a new phase. Their bolded message to the West? “We have the obligation to meet them there.” That’s a threat, plain and simple.
  5. Self-Proclaimed Anti-American Insurgents: Khalil’s group proudly calls itself part of a violent “insurgency” hellbent on dismantling the criminal justice system “until the empire crumbles.” They’re taking inspiration from Bangladeshi “actionists” who stormed a prison, freed inmates, and torched the place—CUAD wants that energy here.
  6. Aiming to Wipe Out Western Civilization: CUAD isn’t subtle—they want the “total eradication of Western civilization” and the “imperialist world order.” They’re rejecting every “genocidal, eugenicist regime” they claim undermines the “colonized.” That’s not reform; that’s annihilation.
  7. Begging for Backup from Foreign Extremists: Khalil’s crew is reaching out to violent radicals abroad, asking for help in sparking uprisings. They’re cozying up to “militants in the Global South” to fight “the fascism ingrained in the American consciousness” and achieve their dream of obliterating Western civilization.
  8. Praising Bangladeshi Chaos: CUAD sent “love” to the Bangladeshi militants who toppled their government, saying they’re eager to “learn more” from them. They capped it with a cheerful “Long live the Global Intifada.” That’s not solidarity—that’s a blueprint.
  9. Threatening Columbia University: Khalil’s group tried to strong-arm Columbia, vowing to “shut down” the university unless it ditched campus police and cut ties with the NYPD. That’s not a demand; that’s extortion.
  10. Obsession with Arson: CUAD has a serious fire fetish. They’ve said the “only way” to fight “state repression” is to burn stuff down, taking cues from Bangladeshi radicals who torched their state broadcasting HQ. They’re also obsessed with Casey Goonan’s California arson attacks—cheering the firebombing of a federal building in Oakland, a UC Berkeley cop car, a campus building, a looted supply site, and a construction site blaze.
  11. Bringing Terrorists to Teach Students: In March 2024, CUAD hosted a virtual event where actual terrorists indoctrinated Columbia students. They invited two leaders from Samidoun, a front for the Marxist-Leninist PFLP (a terrorist group that joined Hamas on October 7), to speak. PFLP bigwig Khaled Barakat told students hijackings are a top “tactic” of the “Palestinian resistance,” naturally hyping up the October 7 attacks. The U.S. and Canada have since labeled Samidoun a terrorist entity tied to PFLP, a move that could crack open the door to targeting other pro-terror groups.
  12. Chinese Communist Party Puppetry: In April 2024, over 100 Columbia protestors, including CUAD as the ringleader coalition, visited the People’s Forum—a known Chinese Communist Party front—where they were told to go riot on campus. Hours later, they did just that. Foreign influence much?
  13. Destroying Everything Colonial: CUAD’s endgame is to “topple all institutions” tied to “colonial, racial capitalism” and “dismantle” the state entirely. That’s not activism; that’s a revolution with a body count.
  14. Bragging About Vandalism: Khalil’s group loves to flex about trashing Columbia’s campus, boasting about their vandalism like it’s a badge of honor.
  15. Admitting They’re Part of Hamas: Khalil’s coalition, a massive network of 116 groups, includes the Columbia chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), the biggest player in the mix. SJP didn’t just celebrate the October 7 attacks—they framed their fight as a war against the U.S. to “liberate Turtle Island” and declared themselves a literal part of Hamas. After gushing over the “resistance movement” behind the October 7 massacres, SJP said, “We, as Palestinian students in exile, are PART of this movement, not in solidarity with this movement.” They also signed a statement on April 18, 2024, backing Iran’s attacks on Israel, cheering for Iran’s “Axis of Resistance” (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis), and predicting they’d take down the U.S. and Israel. SJP even picked Russia over Ukraine and NATO. Other CUAD allies like Democratic Socialists of America, Sunrise, National Lawyers Guild, and Jewish Voice for Peace also endorsed the October 7 attacks or other terrorist acts.

This isn’t just about Khalil, it’s a wake-up call about the broader danger of these groups. They’re not here to coexist; they’re here to destroy. The Trump administration’s move against them isn’t just justified, it’s a preview of what we need to do to protect America from this growing threat.
