Washington Election observer escorted out of the elections office because she refused to comply with the made up mask requirement.
Island County Elections decided they wanted to require masks in ONE ROOM of the office. The room where ballot processing is taking place. If she didn’t put on a mask, she had to stay in the hallway where she can’t see anything.
Election observers are allowed in WA, and there is no mask mandate in place. Not saying that would make it ok to require people to wear useless masks.
Requiring masks in one room and not the whole office makes 0 sense. Literal nonsense…. Unless you don’t want observers to feel welcome.
