Three days after the murder of fashion designer Kate Spade, Anthony Bourdain, the celebrity chef turned globetrotter was found hanging from his bathrobe belt from a doorknob in France. A day before Kate, the sister of Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Inés Zorreguieta, died under the same modus operandi. Bourdain was staying at the Hotel Le Chambard while recording an episode ”Parts Unknown” in Strasbourg along with fellow chef Eric Rippert, the man who ”found” him. None of his relatives saw the body postmortem, making it impossible to verify if it bore signs of violence. The chef-turned-journalist was going after the Clintons, Henry Kissinger, Harvey Weinstein, and fellow chef Mario Batali. Anthony’s relationship with Asia Argento might have played a role as well.
