Keep in mind that the McCloskey’s were both die hard liberal lawyers before they got a good look at what they were defending. Now, he’s running for the Senate as a Republican.
I admire their fortitude however their performance left a little to be desired. Their body language screamed “I do not know how to handle a weapon”. The BLMholes could have seen that as a sign or weakness. But I’m glad they made out OK.
Also the videos clearly showed the BLMholes carrying guns, too, but they were never charged. Nor were they charged for tresspassing, damaging private property, or disturbing the peace.
BTW, the article below is typical of NPR:
…..social justice demonstrators as they marched past the couple’s home.
How about the truth, “….dangerous criminal invaders who broke down the privacy gate and entered a private drive and trespassed and threatened to kill the McCloskeys and their pets and burn their house to the ground.”
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri Gov. Mike Parson on Tuesday announced that he made good on his promise to pardon a couple who gained notoriety for pointing guns at social justice demonstrators as they marched past the couple’s home in a luxury St. Louis enclave last year.
Parson, a Republican, on Friday pardoned Mark McCloskey, who pleaded guilty in June to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and was fined $750, and Patricia McCloskey, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and was fined $2,000.
“Mark McCloskey has publicly stated that if he were involved in the same situation, he would have the exact same conduct,” the McCloskeys’ lawyer Joel Schwartz said Tuesday. “He believes that the pardon vindicates that conduct.”
